1997 Porsche 993 Turbo
Presentation
Marking the end of an era for Porsche’s air-cooled 911 Turbo, the 993 generation was the first to adopt a twin-turbocharged engine paired with an all-wheel drive system. This 1997 example comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Rubicon Grey interior upholstery and features optional Sport Seats, a power sunroof, and automatic cruise control. Showing approximately 52k miles on the odometer, this 993 Turbo is now being offered for auction out of Florida. Click here to view the previous PCARMARKET listing.
Compared to a 993 Carrera, the Turbo model presents widened sills and rear bodywork as well as a body-colored rear spoiler and redesigned bumpers with three front air inlets. This example is factory-finished in Arctic Silver Metallic (L92U) and rides on 18” Technology hollow-spoke wheels dressed in tires from 2023. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the driver is greeted with Rubicon Grey (UR) leather upholstery and optional power height-adjustable front Sport Seats. Additional features include a power sunroof, automatic cruise control, and an upgraded radio.
The air-cooled twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 408 HP and 398 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission. Standard features include the dynamic Active Brake Differential (ABD) and a limited-slip differential. A fully-adjustable Bilstein suspension system was reportedly installed. The CARFAX report shows a total of 15 service history entries, including comprehensive maintenance carried out by Parkhaus1 Performance in August 2021, including the following:

@997Turbo you are correct, arctic was the standard silver for 1997 (only). In 1996 the standard silver was polar (blue undertone) hence my comment of arctic being rare especially with the rubicon interior :-)

@porschemeister Agreed! I recently saw this car unexpectedly, and it’s the real deal. The repaint is flawless. Having owned many of this generation, I’d much rather see a well-maintained, well-driven example than a neglected garage queen. This owner has done both. I’ve seen plenty of ultra-low-mileage cars that don’t hold a candle to this one. GLWS

Arctic Silver rare? It was the std silver color for '97 MY and was widely spec'd. Just on BaT, it represents 16 of the last 40 '97s sold. The rare spec is the Rubicon Grey interior.
