@Skylane9 I don't see any place for this hose to connect to. I therefore believe the hose might be prefilled with a suppressant, and when the temperature in the engine compartment rises enough the red ends of the hose pop off or melt. This allows the suppressant to escape into the engine compartment. Looks rudimentary, but very likely better than having nothing at all.
