Italian Equipment was denoted by the Porsche factory code C07. The factory have confirmed that:

“ the italy-equipment contained the following options:34=turnsignals front white,turnsignals on sides yellow , 37=without warning light system ,447=headlamp flasher just together with driving light , ,486=without outside mirror left
Mit freundlichen Grüßen,”


In addition - specifically…. the "Italian " housings had an additional bulb per side in them - Option 34 covered above - this is therefore (built to adequately) performing the role of the “side” indicator

i also note, such codes as those above used to be documented on the car’s kardex. however, these kardex’ are not available for most post-69 cars ….and the certificate (as shown in the auction) is all that can be obtained.

The proper Italian market front signal lenses are installed. Yeah, additional markers in the fenders would be news to me as well. Maybe some non Italian spec imports into Italy were required to have side markers added in ‘73 to meet their regs?

Would be similar to US importing non US spec cars, changing out the signal lenses, Speedo, etc.

@seller, thank you for your pictures,question: I noticed the front fenders do not feature the round amber side-turn indicators that were mandatory for the Italian market in 1973. Were the front fenders replaced or the repeater holes shaved down during the prior respray? Can the seller provide paint meter readings for the front clip and nose section?

@seller, if you would lift the front trunk lid, remove the carpet and spare tire and give us 5 or 6 clear pictures of battery boxes, head light buckets, smugglers box area would be great. Are you able to put up on lift? Some clear pictures of pans, front suspension crossmember mounts and transaxle #. I see your passenger side rocker panel picture but not the drivers rocker panel. The noise from the second gear comes in downshift from the third into the second over 2000 rpm. Intermediate gas without noise.

Mileage
The odometer is the original 5-digit unit, and the mileage stated in the listing reflects the currently displayed (read) odometer reading.
I can only provide the original service booklet together with the invoices that accompany the car. Beyond these documents, I unfortunately have no additional information regarding the mileage history or whether the instrument cluster or odometer may have been replaced at any point in the past. I prefer not to speculate and can therefore only refer to the documentation available.

@Skylane9 I don't see any place for this hose to connect to. I therefore believe the hose might be prefilled with a suppressant, and when the temperature in the engine compartment rises enough the red ends of the hose pop off or melt. This allows the suppressant to escape into the engine compartment. Looks rudimentary, but very likely better than having nothing at all.

Looking into shipping the car to California, doing Roro into Port Hueneme will cost me about $ 15K.
That includes inland shipping to Holland,
RoRo to Ca, all the sundry loading, unloading, broker's fees, customs clearance with appropriate import duty charges.
I remember when it used to cost $ 1,450- plus duty
of 2.5% with Schumacher Cargo Logistics.
I see similar cars selling for Euro 6 figures on Mobile.de, so why offer it over here in the US?

@rocksterdibs Got to correct you on a couple of points.

First, there was a carbureted '73T. Euro. US got the MFI T because of emissions requirements.

Second, while the '73 US cars had to have the big rubber baby buggy bumpers to meet DOT requirements, '73 Euro cars got the standard metal bumperettes but, had a black plastic coating with the rubber strips instead of the earlier chrome versions.

Thirdly, by '73 Porsche was really cutting out the use of final topcoat paint in a lot of areas especially where there was already undercoating over primer. So, in the trunk, very lightly applied, almost overspray. Under the car, and wheel wells overspray only and in the engine compartment lightly applied if not just overspray. What I see in the engine compartment is likely the grey of the undercoating. Not silver.

IMO, the paint tag is original factory still with factory rivets and the color code shown is proper for the color on the Spec sheet.

Lastly, 334 is not Gemini. It's straight Blue Metallic. A different color than Gemini. Gemini is lighter and at least to my eyes, looks a tad grayer.

These things look proper to me for an Italy delivered car if not over-restored in some areas.. Truth will out!

Looks to me this car was not originally blue , photo 109 shows a door jam bolt were the paint has chipped off and shows silver paint underneath and photo 86 clearly shows inside the engine compartment on both sides to also be silver, should be blue if original, clearly not , and all 1973 911 came fuel injection either mechanical fuel injection on the early 911T and CIS injection on 73 1/2 and up 911T, and 73 911 had front and rear rubber bumperates only for that year, the truth will always come forth, but Gemini blue was always my favorite 911 color
