@Mpdv1969 I don't have a definitive answer for this, only to suggest that in the USA in general ignition switches tend to be located on the right side. Porsche in general is the exception to that rule to an extent. Wish I had a definitive for you on that question but do not because I'm not the manufacturer.
@croy56 thanks - the car has been remarkable well cared for. I don't have a lot to add because the car literally is, 1) get in; 2) turn key; 3) drive away. The engine is unbelievable fun! Sounds good with the straight cut gears that are in the bottom end.
