@Woseknows. The burled wood center panel has never been original and came off a period 3,4L Jaguar sedan ( 1955-59). The leaper was an option and the current/last owner simply took it off and installed a proper center molding. He also reinstalled the top molding above windshield which was missing on the previous sales offer.
For the radio, who needs to listen to a radio from a dismal speaker- if an original radio is still fitted- vs the roaring sound of the dual exhaust? Anyhow, fitting an original radio on an automatic car had to be akward as the location on a 4 speed is right where the automatic black plastic control is fitted- the space without the chrome molding is where it was normally fitted. The car seems in excellent shape over all but still has minor cosmetic improvements possible for its next curator, but will be great fun to enjoy. GLWTA.
