It is also fully and easily reversible, and considerably less complex than the equivalent conversion on the 964, which represents a substantially larger undertaking.
Furthermore, on most 993 Turbos today, the front drivetrain is in all likelihood no longer in its original condition — meaning that in most cases, the all-wheel-drive system no longer operates as Porsche originally intended. I have not come across many cars in which the viscous coupling, for example, has been overhauled.
Nevertheless, the car fully deserves genuine Porsche 993 hardback sport seats ;-)
