I owned a 1970 Ghibli SS for several years. It was my first classic car, and I bought it for $36,500. One day, it was running rough, and so I wanted to bring it to my mechanic in CT. I had my wife follow me just in case it broke down. At the time, she was 8 months pregnant with our second. Of course the car broke down 2 miles short of our destination. And then a driving rainstorm started as she was guiding cars around my broken down Ghibli. After we were towed to the shop by my mechanic, she gave me the ultimatum: it was her or the car. Our 30th anniversary is coming up, and our son turned 25 this summer. I miss my Ghibli terribly.
