Seeing this DB5 reminds me of the opportunity I passed on in 1978 to buy a DB5 coupe in London. It was truly a running project car (multiple dents, much of the car in primer, missing a headlamp, and who knows what else). The seller wanted 5,000 Pounds Sterling, which was more than I could afford at the time (it cost more than a year at Yale back then). Should have figured out a way to purchase it, although I had no money for a restoration. Back then, I was driving an Opel. This DB5 is quite beautiful and would be absolutely delightful to drive through Europe. Hope whoever has the honor of winning this auction treasures the car and serves as a good steward of a truly iconic car of the 1960s. GLWTA!
