Franklin was preparing something even grander and enlisted renowned designer Raymond H. Dietrich to create its next-generation luxury car: the V12. 🎩 💎
Then the Depression intervened. The V12 project was postponed, but Dietrich's striking new DeLuxe body was already finished. Rather than let it go to waste, Franklin mounted it on the existing six-cylinder Model 153. ✨
Already the company's flagship for 1931, the car suddenly found itself wearing a body designed for the future. 🎟️ 🍀 😺
