Introduced for 2009, the Porsche 997.2 Carrera brought direct fuel injection and the option of a new PDK dual-clutch transmission to Porsche's rear-engine sports car. Finished in Black over matching interior upholstery, this inaugural-year Porsche 997.2 Carrera Cabriolet features optional 19" Turbo wheels, the Sport Chrono Package Plus, the BOSE High-End Sound Package, while modifications include a genuine Porsche GT3 RS rear wing and a carbon fiber cold air intake. This example is now being offered for auction in Virginia showing approximately 44k miles on the odometer.
This Carrera Cabriolet is finished in Black with a matching power-retractable soft top. Details also include LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, and optional 19” Turbo wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires fitted approximately one year ago. A genuine Porsche GT3 RS rear wing has been added. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report noting damage in 2019 and 2020.
The black interior features the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus, including a dashboard timer, and the BOSE High-End Sound Package. An aftermarket head unit has been installed. The seller notes some wear on the rear seat behind the passenger seat, and confirms that all gauges, electronics, and accessories are in proper working order.
Power comes from a 3.6-liter flat-six with direct fuel injection, which was factory rated at 345 HP and 288 lb-ft of torque, and drives the rear wheels through a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. Equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package, acceleration from 0-60 PH can be achieved in as little as 4.3 seconds. A carbon fiber cold air intake has been fitted. The CARFAX report shows a total of 29 service history entries, and the seller states one oil change has been performed since their January 2025 acquisition.

Tastefully upgraded with a GT3 RS–style front fascia and rear wing, giving it a more aggressive, well-balanced look without overdoing it. Interior is in excellent condition. Exterior is in great shape overall — not perfect, but no dents or major body damage. Convertible top functions properly. All electronics and features are fully working. Recently serviced with a clean bill of health — no mechanical issues. As a 997.2, this model features the updated DFI engine, avoiding the bore scoring concerns found in earlier 997.1 models."
