2023 BAC Mono R
Presentation
This 2023 BAC Mono R is powered by a Mountune Racing-built 2.5L inline-four linked with a Hewland FTR six-speed sequential gearbox and a Powerflow limited-slip differential. The car features carbon-fiber composite bodywork finished in translucent burgundy paint with an asymmetrical gold livery, along with exposed gloss carbon-fiber accents over a TIG-welded seamless tube steel chassis. It rolls on 17″ OZ Racing carbon-hybrid wheels mounted over carbon-ceramic brakes with AP Racing 5000 R calipers, and additional equipment includes a titanium exhaust manifold, adjustable Öhlins dampers, centrally mounted headlights, a Formula 3-style air intake pod, and a rear spoiler and diffuser. Inside, the single-seat is trimmed in black leather and microsuede complemented by a multifunction steering wheel, an electrical cutoff switch, and a Sabelt racing harness. It was offered by the selling dealer on BaT in April 2025 before being acquired by its current owner later that same year. This Mono R shows 1,700 miles and is offered again by the consigning dealer—a BaT Local Partner—with a Bell/BAC Design helmet, factory extras, a clean Carfax report, and a California title listing the car as a 0000 SPCNS.

The Mono R was introduced at the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed and features graphene-enhanced carbon-fiber body panels, a Formula 3-style air intake pod, and a pair of headlights mounted under a plexiglass cover in the nose. The car is 20mm lower and 25mm longer than the standard Mono and has a curb weight of 1,224 pounds, a savings of over 50 pounds compared to the standard model.
The bodywork on this example is finished in translucent burgundy paint with an asymmetrical gold livery, and it is wrapped around a TIG-welded seamless tube steel chassis with a carbon-fiber crash box. Gloss carbon fiber is visible on the fenders, lower nose panels, air intake pod, and tail. Equipment includes front and rear towing eyes, LED running lamps, dual side-view mirrors with red-painted caps, and a rear spoiler and diffuser.
The 17″ OZ Racing carbon-hybrid wheels are finished in gold with exposed carbon-fiber barrels, and they are wrapped in 205/45 front and 255/40 rear Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires. The pushrod suspension utilizes billet aluminum uprights, Eibach springs, adjustable Öhlins dampers, and front and rear anti-roll bars. Stopping power is provided by four-piston AP Racing 5000 R calipers over cross-drilled carbon-ceramic discs at all four corners.
The single-seat cockpit is trimmed in black microsuede and leather upholstery with yellow contrast stitching. Equipment includes an electrical cutoff switch, a brake bias adjuster, and a Sabelt safety harness.
The 290mm Mono R-branded carbon-fiber steering wheel features an LCD screen and hand controls, and it is mounted on a quick-release hub. The digital odometer shows 1,700 miles.

Dumb question here, but these are street legal correct? Like those 3 wheeled, cannot think of the name, two seaters?
I bet this is crazy fast for the weight and size. And fun.
Awesome specs.
